Drone Alert provides access to Safety Gate, the European Union’s rapid alert system for dangerous non-food products. The European Commission platform publishes products identified as unsafe and measures such as market withdrawal, consumer recalls or other restrictions on sale.
Check whether a drone or toy drone has been identified by a European authority as presenting risks, such as manufacturing defects, electrical failures, battery problems, fire hazards, loss of flight control or non-compliance with safety requirements.
For drones, search for the product "Drone" in the "Gadgets" category. For drones marketed as toys, search for "Toy drone" in the "Toys" category.
Each alert may include the brand and model, photographs, a description of the risk, actions taken by authorities and the countries involved. Always confirm the details directly with the official source.
